Some weddings are sunshine and still skies. Others—like Sarah and Lewis’s Aldwick Estate wedding—are wild, windswept, and utterly unforgettable.
Despite the rain and gusts rolling through the Somerset countryside, nothing could dampen the joy of this day. From the moment Sarah stepped into her dress to the final dancefloor shot, their wedding was a celebration of love, laughter, and family. As their Aldwick Estate wedding photographer and videographer team, we had the privilege of capturing every raw, beautiful moment.
The ceremony was intimate and emotional, with heartfelt speeches that brought tears and laughter—especially those delivered by their children, who added a personal and touching layer to the day. The weather may have been unpredictable, but the energy was electric. Guests embraced the storm with smiles, umbrellas, and plenty of prosecco.
Later, the party truly came alive. The dancefloor was packed, the shots were flowing, and the newlyweds—now officially Mr and Mrs Bees—were glowing with happiness. It was the kind of wedding that reminds you what it’s all about: connection, celebration, and the people who make it all worthwhile.
Sarah and Lewis’s Aldwick Estate wedding was proof that love doesn’t need perfect weather—it just needs the right people. And we were honoured to be there, documenting every windswept kiss and every laugh that echoed through the vines.
